There will be a few more pieces to go in as lattice when i have the cable route sorted for the tilt over mechanism .The pulleys need to be arranged to keep the cable in the middle of drum on winch ....so thats the next job.

Tower base (its a hobby)
Ok ive been here 3 years now, well second time round .Ive been saying im doing this tower so here we go !
The base is made from 2 of 254x104 @ 3.3 m rsj with 100 x 20 fb making the hinges
Ill lattice this up to hold them together
At a little over 3m this is larger than a standard versatower base by maybe 1200mm so the top is tapered to allow the head end to still come down to ground also will make the tower near 80ft .The bottom section im going to extend by 1200mm this will keep the pivot below half so tilting will still be ok
And the winch will be about 1100 mm of the floor
